How to Create a Pond in Elite Realty CRM

As of today, there is no formalized feature for building ponds inside of Elite Realty CRM though it is on our product roadmap to create a more robust and efficient way to create a pond.

Do you have leads assigned to agents who are just too busy to prospect them properly? Every single lead that isn’t actively nurtured is a wasted opportunity to close a potential deal.

Let's talk about how you can route leads so that those leads are opportunities for agents on your team who can actively reach out to them and work.

Method 1: Create a "Pond User"

This is ideal for teams who enable everyone to see all leads inside of their CRM. What you will do is create a user and name them something like "Katherine Pond" or "Sam Pond".

  1. Settings > My Staff > Add Employee

  2. Create a fake account with any email/phone combination.

  3. Update the lead routing so that certain leads will go directly to the pond.

  4. Establish a rule within the team that whoever can re-assign that lead to them first gets to have it.

Creating Notifications for Pond Leads

The best way to create group notifications will be through Slack actions. You can do this by modifying the exact automations in which you are assigning leads to the "Pond" with.


I highly recommend all residential teams to create a Slack account for group communications. This can all be done on the Free Plan.
