If you use Lofty (formerly Chime) as your CRM, this guide walks you through connecting it to Book More Showings so leads flow automatically. Total setup time: about 10 minutes.

Before starting:
• Admin access to your Lofty account (you need to be able to access Settings → Integrations)
• Your Book More Showings dashboard login
• About 10 minutes uninterrupted
Body — section: Step 1 — Get your Lofty API key
4. Log in to Lofty (lofty.com).
5. Click your profile icon (top right) → Settings.
6. In the left sidebar, click Integrations → API.
7. If you don't see an API key already generated, click "Generate new key." Lofty will create one and display it once — copy it now.
8. Important: store the key somewhere safe (password manager). You won't be able to see it again.
Body — section: Step 2 — Connect Lofty in Book More Showings
9. Log in to your BMS dashboard.
10. Go to Settings → Integrations → CRM.
11. Find Lofty in the list and click "Connect."
12. Paste your Lofty API key into the field.
13. Choose your default lead settings:
• Source — what tag should appear on leads in Lofty (default: "Book More Showings")
• Default agent — which Lofty agent gets leads if no other rules match
• Default tags — any custom Lofty tags to apply automatically
14. Click "Save & Test." The system will send a test lead to verify the connection.

15. Open Lofty → All Leads.
16. Look for a lead named "BMS Test Lead" with the email [email protected].
17. If you see it, you're connected! You can delete the test lead.
18. If you don't see it, check the BMS dashboard — there should be a connection status. If it shows "Failed," common causes:
• API key was copied with extra whitespace — re-paste carefully
• Your Lofty plan doesn't include API access — contact Lofty support to confirm
• Firewall / network restriction blocking the connection — try from a different network
Body — section: Common issues
Leads arriving in Lofty but not assigning to the right agent: Check your Lofty lead routing rules under Settings → Lead Distribution. Our integration uses your default routing — if you have specific routing requirements, configure them there.
Duplicate leads: Lofty deduplicates by email. If a customer has been a lead before, they'll merge into the existing record rather than creating a new one. This is intended.
Stuck leads (in BMS dashboard but not in Lofty): Settings → Integrations → CRM → click Lofty → "View Sync Log" to see error details. Most common cause is an expired API key — regenerate in Lofty and re-paste in BMS.
