What is DND? (Do Not Disturb)

DND stands for Do Not Disturb, and Elite Realty CRM uses this setting to indicate if a contact has requested to be removed from certain types of communications. In the Elite Realty CRM platform, a DND record exists for every channel for customer communication.

Compliance Settings with DND

If you have been doing SMS or email marketing, you will understand the importance of complying with both. There have been strict regulations regarding both recently, so we have built compliance into its core settings.

Under Settings > Business Profile and the General area in your account, you will see three areas of interest regarding compliance.

These settings are appended to each email and SMS message sent to keep everyone compliant. Suppose a contact responds STOP to an SMS or clicks on the unsubscribe link in your email. In that case, Elite Realty CRM automatically sets the DND value for that communication in the contact record.

How to Enable DND from mobile app

When you are on the go, you may want to enable DND on a specific customer. You'll notice that the interface on the desktop is different from mobile.

The simplest way to enable DND on a customer from mobile is to tag them as 'dnd'. This will enable DND amongst all channels. If you would like to modify this automation, you can find it inside of Workflows > Compliance Folder

Frequently Asked Questions

Not authorized to update permanent dnd setting for SMS

When attempting to enable DND via the mobile app and getting an error that states you are not authorized to update their DND setting, this would be because the lead has already been enabled for DND.
